If you would like to call me by telephone to discuss a specimen or place a verbal order, I'd be delighted to talk to you. Call me within reasonable hours at 905-836-9073. Orders by fax are also fine and my fax number is 905-836-5283. The fax line is often tied up for hours by the computer so e-mail or telephone ordering are really the best methods.

Sometimes I am away from the office for one or two weeks. I always check my phone messages daily and try to access my e-mail daily when I'm away. I'll try and get back to you within a day or so as long as I am somewhere near civilization

I try to identify specimens on the website as "sold" as soon as possible or replace sold specimens with new ones as soon as possible. Sometimes it is not possible to designate sold specimens quickly enough before somebody tries to order them again. I will tell you in a confirming e-mail or telephone call if the specimens that you ordered are all available or not.

Exchange Rates - The Canadian dollar continues to be significantly discounted against the US$. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Please deduct 6% (multiply the price by 0.94) from the price of the minerals, if you want to pay in US$.

Payment - Please forward your payment as soon as possible after you order. I will ship orders for new clients only upon receipt of payment. Established customers can send payment on approval. Money orders are preferable, but personal cheques are fine from established customers.

For Goldcorp Inc. gold specimens only, please make certified cheques or money orders payable to Goldcorp Inc. For all other specimens make your cheques or money orders payable to David K. Joyce.

Visa and Mastercard Payments - I am happy to accept Visa and Mastercard payments. When you place an order, please indicate that you'd like to pay with Visa or Mastercard and I'll contact you on how to forward the correct information to me. I will probably ask you to tell me the credit card information over the telephone or fax me the information. Those are the most secure ways for me to accept your confidential credit card information.

Taxes - Canadian residents must add 5% GST to their orders. In addition, residents of Ontario need to add 8% PST to the total of their order.

Postage/Shipping - I'll ship all orders via surface mail/parcel post unless specified otherwise. Please add $6.00 to your order for postage and handling for the first spacemen and then $1 for each additional specimen. For orders over $400.00 there is no charge for postage. Surface mail/parcel post to overseas destinations can be very slow. If you would like to receive your specimen faster it is possible to pay more for postage/shipping and then I will send them by a faster method.

Alternatives - If you can, please designate alternative selections in case the specimen that you want is gone already. This is fairly painless, especially where there is more than one specimen of the same type of mineral in the same price range.

Trading/Exchanging - There are occasions where I can exchange for specimens. Please note that specimens denoted with an asterisk* are not available for exchange. They are on consignment and I cannot trade them.

Return Policy - I have done my best to provide meaningful photographs and/or descriptions of each specimen. Most specimens have no damage and if they do, I will show it or tell about it. That is the quality that I try to have on my lists. Please keep in mind, even though some of the prices seem very low priced, there is nothing wrong with those specimens! Either I collected them myself, acquired them at a reasonable cost from somebody or exchanged for them and I am passing on at a reasonable cost to you . All specimens are of excellent quality. If you are not satisfied with your specimens, please return to me for full credit or refund within one week of receipt. Shipping costs are not refundable.
