This sawn-one-side vein section shows very rich dendritic native silver associated with cobalt arsenides. Agnico Eagle Mines operated the Coniagas Mine in the 70's when this specimen was recovered. The rough side shows pink staining, indicating the cobalt mineralization. Excellent!

An elongate silver leaf protrudes up out of and to the right of this matrix of conglomerate. The silver has a sulphide, possibly tetrahedrite or stromeyerite or similar embedded or impregnated in its sides which gives it a darket colour. very interesting and good looking!
