  • This is a sweet specimen! Difficult to photograph since the crystals are SO CLEAR and lustrous. The whole specimen is composed of fluorite crystals od a very light green colour. The crystals are predominately octahedral with small dodecahedral bevels on the edges. Really nice crystals!

  • Very gemmy, lovely orangey-yellow fluorite crystals make up the entirety of this specimen. The crystals show the simple cube and have a thin outer zone of purple fluorite which accents the edges of the cubes. A little bruising but a gorgeous cabinet specimen!

  • Gemmy light purple cxubes of fluorite cover most of this specimen. Interestingly, the crystals have an inner zone of intense purple surrounded by the lighter purple gemmy fluorite. The crystals are combinations of the cube and the dodecahedron. Unusual morphology. Looks great!

  • Thesefluorite crystals have very nice stepped calcite crystals for a matrix! The calcite crystals are actually scalenohedra overgrown by stepped rhombohedra which are lustrous, as well as transluscent and colourless. There are a number of clusters of fluorite crystals on the calcite, composed of simple yellow cubes. As far as a can tell this is a 'floater" with no or a very small point of attachment. Very nice!

  • A beautiful cluster of cubic fluorite crystals showing a yellow phantom interior and a light greenish exterior zone. The crystals have very nice luster, razor sharp edges and very little damage. The specimen is accompanied by a "Mineralogiches Museum" label and a Herb Obodda Label. From what I can tell from the label, the specimen was collected on the 400m level of the mine in 1966. Looks great!

  • This specimen is largely composed of botryoidal fluorite with a very nice green colour associated with a smaller amount of purple fluorite. An accompanying Cal-Neva label indicates that the fluorite is associated with amethyst but there is no purple quartz on the specimen, just a little purple fluorite on some massive white quartz. Nice Colorado location!
