Uranium/Radioactive Minerals

There are a number of minerals that have radioactive elements such as uranium and thorium in them. Here are some excellent examples. Postage will be higher (CAD$30 or US$22.50) for these since I need to use bigger boxes and more material than usual. In North America, I will send them by surface mail. The risk associated with sending these specimens is the purchasers. There may be some countries to which I cannot send these radioactive specimens. Rules are constantly changing these days!

All prices in Canadian dollars. For payment in US$, deduct 19% or multiply by 0.81.

  • Largest Crystal Size: n/a
  • $45.00
  • Lovellite

  • Largest Crystal Size: n/a
  • $35.00
  • Haystack Mine
  • Grants
    New Mexico, USA
  • The front of this limestone matrix is an exposed vein of calcite crystals associated with yellow uranocircite and a pseudocubic mineral, possibly a phosphate or zeolite. Sorry don't know which one. Well formed crystals though! The uranocircite is mostly a white powder with just a hint of crystal structure.

  • Largest Crystal Size: As above
  • $75.00
  • Ankazobe
  • A very sharp, lightly altered euxenite crystal with excellent termination. Will need surface mail, not air mail so it will longer to be delivered to you. Really nice crystal!
